Join me at Lexington’s iconic bookstore, The Bookery, to celebrate the release of TRUE PLACES. The book is partially set in this town, making for an extra special evening. Both the hardcover and trade paperback versions will be available for signing. Everyone is welcome!
The panel is Secrets and Betrayals: Fiction.
Bryn Chancellor (Sycamore), Marisa De Los Santos (I’ll Be Your Blue Sky), and I (All the Best People) will discuss the secrets and betrayals their characters face. Please join us!
The Virginia Festival of the Book is a 5-day festival (18-22 March) of mostly FREE LITERARY EVENTS that are open to the public as we honor book culture and promote reading and literacy.
It's holiday shopping time! Lexington's downtown devotes a special day to support local business and I'm delighted to be signing copies of all three of my books on Saturday, 2 December. I'll also be convincing everyone to buy one of my favorite books of the year, Last Christmas in Paris by Heather Webb and Hazel Gaynor.
The Virginia Festival of the Book is one of the largest and most illustrious on the East Coast. I'll be moderating this panel featuring books about animals, harking back to my previous incarnation as an animal behavior researcher. Lucky me!
Authors Jennifer Ackerman (The Genius of Birds), Abraham Gibson (Feral Animals of the American South), and Bill Schutt (Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History)
The Virginia Festival of the Book is one of the largest book festivals on the East Coast. This year, I'll be moderating a panel entitled, Deeply Human Stories featuring these exciting books: The Runaway Midwife by Patricia Harman, Home Field by Hannah Gersen, and The Light of Hidden Flowers by Jennifer Handford. Come meet the authors (and me!) at Barnes & Noble in Charlottesville.
